How often should a truck scale be calibrated?
The right interval depends on traffic, environment, business requirements and how the scale is used. Many operations schedule routine service and add a visit when readings become questionable or components are disturbed.
Can you repair a scale that will not return to zero?
Yes. A zero problem can come from debris, binding, damaged cable, moisture, load cells, mechanical restraints or the indicator. We work through the system to find the cause.
Do you service the deck and components below it?
Yes. Safe access permitting, we inspect the platform, load cells, junction boxes, cabling and mechanical components that affect performance.
What should I send before the visit?
Send the scale location, manufacturer, model, capacity, indicator model, symptoms, recent changes and clear photos. Also note traffic-control or shutdown requirements.
